Meggan Marshall has over 20 years’ experience in the field of education. Much of that time has been spent working in numerous areas of administration. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Emory and Henry College and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Radford University. For the past 15+ years Meggan has been deeply involved in working with the community at large. Recently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Meggan has been leading the charge in her community to ensure students, staff, and faculty have the resources and materials required to meet the new challenges that the onset of hybrid education has brought. Meggan has maintained a high-level of effectiveness in her role by utilizing available technological tools (e.g. Virtual Learning/Meetings) and safe in-person interactions.
Some of Meggan’s professional accomplishments include fostering and promoting trauma-informed educational practices; creating environments where at-risk individuals can thrive and reach their fullest potential; building strong relationships with students, teachers, faculty, families, school communities and maintaining them during times of crisis. Meggan also has success in working with local municipalities in obtaining six figure State grant funding.

Chief Security Officer (CSO)
Chris Flynn contributes over 40 years of experience designing and developing technology solutions. He also has proven success at being a key contributor in the promotion of solutions designed to assist burgeoning industries. Chris has a wide breadth of experience in technologies having provided solutions for enterprise-class applications, e-business/e-commerce, network & systems security, regulatory compliance, and systems maintenance/support. He has continually demonstrated excellence in the full development life cycle process. Chris has been recognized as one of the top technology business leaders, along with other professional recognitions throughout his career. Chris is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Nicole Canavan has over a decade of marketing experience working for both start-up and established software companies. Her focus is software product marketing and her expertise is representing the user perspective in new product development. A regular volunteer in her community, Nicole is passionate about Trusted Village because it merges her software experience with the needs of community volunteering.
Director of Content Management
Christina Tilford is an artist and graphic designer. She attended the University of Alabama, at Birmingham, with a concentration in Fine Arts. Her work has been published in several editorials and has won multiple art competitions throughout her career. For the past decade, Christina has applied her skills in art and design towards website designs and layouts that has appealed to a variety of specific target audiences. Christina’s talent is creating website designs and layouts along with the custom artwork and media required for professional sites. She is also a certified social media marketing expert and utilizes those skills to ensure optimal social media presence and SEO for her clients.
Director of Communications
Michelle Flynn has worked in the field of education for over 20 years. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Oswego and later completed an endorsement program in educational administration and supervision through the University of Virginia. Michelle began her career as a business teacher and taught both high school students as well as adults in the community college setting. Her passion for working with students and teachers led her to positions as an assistant principal, director of student services, and health and medical sciences program manager in the fifth largest school division in the United States. More recently, Michelle worked at Radford University as an Associate Program Manager for a non-profit outreach program focused on providing education, training, and certificate programs to government finance professionals.
Some of Michelle’s professional accomplishments include working with the International Baccalaureate program as both an instructor and as a school based administrator, developing and implementing career and technical education programs leading to national certifications for students through the development of business partnerships and grants, and supporting students and teachers in becoming lifelong learners.
